Federación Puertorriqueña de Tenis de Mesa (Puerto Rican Table Tennis Federation) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering the sport of table tennis among clubs and athletes throughout Puerto Rico. As a recognized entity by the Comité Olímpico de Puerto Rico (Puerto Rico Olympic Committee) and an affiliate of major international table tennis bodies, it is pivotal in advancing the sport nationally and internationally.

The Federation aims to achieve outstanding results at international competitions through its National Teams, continuously striving for medals in high-performance sporting events. It supports athletes by providing expert coaching, world-class training facilities, and strategic guidance, ensuring Puerto Rico’s athletes consistently reach global podiums.
Fostering Table Tennis Excellence in Puerto Rico
The Federation’s vision is ambitious and transparent: to become one of COPUR’s leading federations across competitive, organizational, administrative, and social dimensions. It strives for Puerto Rican athletes to consistently secure top placements in prestigious international competitions such as the Caribbean Championships, Latin American Championships, Ibero-American Championships, Central American and Caribbean Games, and Pan American Games.

Federación Puertorriqueña de Tenis de Mesa actively promotes table tennis through a variety of robust programs: 
- Athlete Development and Training: It organizes comprehensive training programs for athletes of all ages, preparing them rigorously for international competitions.
- Event Management: The Federation organizes national championships, oversees annual tournaments, and coordinates training programs, cultivating a thriving competitive environment.

The Federation collaborates closely with international affiliates, including the International Table Tennis Federation, Latin American Table Tennis Union, Caribbean Table Tennis Association, and the Ibero-American Table Tennis Confederation. This has resulted in notable successes, such as improved rankings in international competitions and increased opportunities for Puerto Rican athletes to train abroad.

Through clinics, training courses, and guidance for new clubs and associations, the Federation aims to educate the public, strengthen community ties, and expand interest in table tennis across all age groups. One recent initiative, the ‘Youth Table Tennis Clinic,’ successfully introduced over 100 young participants to the fundamentals of the sport, highlighting the Federation’s impact and dedication to community enrichment.
